Today’s mission was to search through the internet sports radio programs and find a few worth listening to on a regular basis. What bad luck is it that I had to pick the day of Michael Vick’s sentencing. All the ‘radio waves’ are filled with are questions surrounding the 23-month sentence Vick received and if he should play again. Who cares? It is going to be years from now – he still has state charges to deal with, too – and we’ll go over it all again then.
His former team, the Falcons – to whom he is still under contract as they try to take back some of the money they paid him in bonuses meant to encourage him to not be a freaking idiot – are playing host to the Saints tonight on Monday Night Football. The Yardstick for the New Orleans at Atlanta game favors the visiting squad by three points.
