Along with the charges this week at Florida State University of cheating by students on an online music history exam comes the suspensions to the athletes who will no longer be eligible to play in the Music City Bowl on New Year’s Eve against Kentucky.
Apparently up to 25 players could miss the game due to their inability to play within the rules of going to university and studying. Coach Bobby Bowden says the team will still be playing the game, and that some players will be playing positions they have never before played.
While there are ample opportunities here for many jokes of myriad varieties and for a whole slew of tastes, I’ll just let out user Footballsheriff start off things with his comment at the Music City Bowl Game Yard. Now you want to be making a pick on the game, as the Yardstick currently favors Kentucky by just five points. Join FanYard now.
***Update: Today, Saturday the 22nd of December, it has come out that 36 players will miss the Music City Bowl. If you want to suit up for the team , send a resume and a video of your skills real quick-like. 36 players?!? Wow.
Hopefully they have enough players, as nobody wants to see cheerleaders out there getting hurt. Well, except maybe for the guy who gets to fix them up…
